LAST WEEKEND'S

 $8,729
You gave $3,348 in the second collection for the Missions in New Mexico. Thank you for your generosity.
This weekend, we will have a second collection for Fuel Assistance to help defray the cost of heating the church and parish offices. Thank you for your support.
May God reward you for your goodness to our parish family.

Christmas Gifts for Service Men and Women
The Marshfield Veterans Office will send Christmas packages to the many men and women serving our country in Iraq or Afghanistan. If you know of someone who is serving in these countries, please call Dick Martin at 781-834-6289 with their name and APO mailing address.

On behalf of our parish Family, I thank the members of the Parish Finance Committee who have been working very hard preparing our parish budget. These are very difficult times financially for all of us and that naturally affects our parish budget. I am grateful to the committee for their presentation at the end of Mass today and for their presentation of the budget to you. The members are Brian House (Chairman), Mike Kowaleski, Jim McCorry, Bob Russell, Kevin Kiley, Mike Walsh and Brain McNeil.

I came across this prayer for Fathers. Let us pray for all Dads in our parish.
“O God, Giver of Life and Father of us all, help me to be the kind of father to my children that You are to me.

May I love them unconditionally, forgive them when they fail, counsel them when they doubt, lift them up when they fall, guide them in the darkness and walk beside them in the light.

Show me, loving Father, how to teach them, to play with them, to share with them and to pray with them.

Thank you for my children; thank you for my role as a father.” (Prospect Hill)

God bless you. Father Tom
