CHRISTMAS FLOWER NOVENA
A Novena of Masses in memory of our deceased relatives and friends
will begin on Monday, January 5th at the 9:00 am Mass and continue
until Thursday, January 15th. We thank all those who contributed
so generously to our Christmas flowers.
VOCATIONS: We pray for all religious congregations serving the church in our Archdiocese and throughout the world.
REFLECTION: Give thanks to the Lord for we have been given a great gift; our Savior is born. How can I say thank you?
We hope that each of you had a wonderful Christmas Day. As a reminder to you all, the Christmas Collection supports the retirement, medical care and financial needs of the priests of the Archdiocese of Boston. If you have not done so already and you wish to do so, you may include your Christmas Collection envelope in today’s collection basket. Thank you for your continued generosity to the church.
Sincere thanks to the Liturgy Committee , Meri-Lee Mafera, our Director of Music, the Choir, Mary Doyle, Sr. Theresa, and the Children’s Choir, Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers, Ministers of Hospitality, and Ron Cooledge, our Facilities Manager, for helping to make our Advent and Christmas seasons a prayerful time for all.
A PRAYER FOR THE NEW YEAR
O God of new beginnings and wonderful surprises, thank you for
the gift of the New Year.
May it be a time of grace for me, a time to grow in faith and
love, a time to renew my commitment of following your son Jesus.
May it be a year of blessings for me, a time to cherish my family
and friends, a time to renew my efforts at work, a time to embrace
my faith more fully.
Walk with me in every day and every hour of the New Year, that
the light of Christ might shine through me in spite of my weaknesses
and failings.
Above all, may I remember this year that I am a pilgrim on the
sacred path to You. Amen (Prospect Hill Co.)
God bless you........... Fr. Tom
