Frequently Asked Questions

When can I worship with you?

Our Mass Schedule can be found here: Mass Schedule

How do I get to St. Christine's?

Our parish is located at 1295 Main Street, Marshfield, MA 02050. Here is a map.

Where should I park?

We have ample parking in our lot including some handicapped spaces however, the Marshfield Fire Department has requested that our parishioners refrain from parking in front of the church as it prevents their access in times of emergency.

Where do my children go?

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Mt. 19:14)

Welcoming children at Mass acknowledges and values their presence as valued and essential members of our faith community. Nurturing their spiritual development ensures the church's ongoing existence and influence. If needed, please find a Children’s Room to the left of the Altar to support your little one during the Mass.

I’m not Catholic, how do I know when to sit, stand and kneel?

Please feel free to follow the other parishioners until you have become a custom to the process.

I’m not Catholic, is it okay for me to participate in communion?

The Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ, and Catholics must be properly prepared to receive it.

Non-Catholics are very welcome to attend Mass and take part in other ways - are still part of our community.

For those who do not receive Sacramental Communion, they are invited to come forward at the moment of Communion for a blessing emphasizing that a deep spiritual communion is possible even when we do not share together in the Sacrament of the Body and Blood of Christ.

Am I expected to put money in the offering?

Our Church plays a vital role in our spiritual lives offering opportunities for worship, education and fellowship.

To continue offering these valuable programs and services, we rely on the generous support of our parishioners. Your donations help to support our priests, fund our ministries and maintain our church buildings of Saint Christine’s and Saint Theresa’s Chapel.
